hey i scored a ed grill and i am wanting to fit it to my eb series 2. when i tried to put it on it lines up correct except for a approx 5cm space.

which indicates it needs spacers and longer bolts. anyone done this before and if so where best place to get parts from.

i also have an aftermarket bonnet. i dont think it matters though cause the eb grill fits perfect.

yeh, that part of the bonnet is different on EB/ED as you've already noticed.

washers and long bolts are your friend. try your local hardware shop, or get an ED bonnet.

How do you mesh an ED grill, I put an ED grill on my EB II shortly after I got it.

I used long bolts & put nuts to adjust them to the right posisition.

M6 X 40MM High Tensile bolts with nuts Pkt of 5 from any hardware store...

You will only need 3 bolts & 3 nuts for adjust for right fit on bonnet, do not overtighten them.

M6 X 40MM High Tensile bolts with nuts Pkt of 5 from any hardware store & 6 1/4" washers.

You will only need 3 bolts & 3 nuts & 6 washers , do not overtighten the nuts or you can damage the grill mounting holes.

thanks daro for the info

the mesh idea is great, i think i might paint the chrome bit (not a big fan) the same colour, remove the grey bit and put the bigger mesh behind.

carl to make it look even more different i'll see wat it looks like without the ford badge.
