Where do i get wheel spacers from?
I have a set of rims that are the correct offset and stud pattern for my AUII but the center hole in the rims are not quite big enough to fit all the way on the car. The rims go a little over it is only about 1-2mm bigger than the hole in the rim. Will wheel spacers allow me to use them? and where do i get them from?

I remember reading somewhere (here most likely) that spacers are illegal. Hub adaptors are apparently the way to go but I'm not sure they make any with your particular situation in mind, adaptors are usually used when the offsets are different...

doesnt sound too promising. I pretty much just need like a huge washer thing because when the wheels are done up tight they dont sit tight against the hub and it can move a bit. Might just have to make one out of steel myself then.

Don't just take my word for it, I don't mess around with wheels nearly enough (my car still has the stock Fairmont alloys on it lol) to really know what I'm talking about here. The fact the offset of the rims matches the car means your case is different to the usual one for spacers/hub adaptors so the legalites may be different too, I really wouldn't know.

lol i dont think hub adapters are gonna do u any good as they are already in the right offset :roll:
anyways spacers will do the trick but are illegal, not sure how much they are ure wheel shop should be able to fix u up i think.

If the holes are just not big enough, get the holes machined out, wheel spacers are a big no no anyway.

I fitted a set of EF/EL 15" (ex cop silver) to a Centura (Kermit green) I owned years ago, Chrysler have about a 1-2mm bigger hub, being steel rims it was dead easy to use a spare disc hub I had and a die grinder, I ground out each rim until they just fitted the hub, but I don't recommend that for alloy rims.

thanks for all the replys. Someone on fordforums gave me an article about it in a magazine. I will be going to a rim place when they re-open after christmas break to get the holes bored out bigger.
