any done this befor?
or know how much they can handle?

the plan was to build a tough I6 and then add in half of the engines power again with the gas

so if it makes 300hp we want to use a 150hp of nitrous oxide

100 h.p shot will give you 200 rwkw...With good exhaust wade ll cam
ACL are o/k but they [ACL] don't recomend them to be used on n2o...But heaps better than std..Tuning is the key here to reliabilty!!!
Trouble though any piston better may cost heaps...
Thought of AU rods and pistons???
There are companies out there that make custom pistons but expect tp pay...Off the shelf are approx 1/2 price compared...

we (wade and my self) have worked out already that the stage 2 will not work in my engine.

and we (my boss and me) are looking for more than just 200kw
the biggest cam that wade do fo the I6 wil be on it's way soon. and we have 2 cylinder heads to modify to find a suitable port shape.
had thought about AU rods but going to use some H-beam rods

this is not going to be a half a*** build and i get performance parts at cost price

If you are using H beams then use decent pistons..J.E / C.P etc....

How much are a set of H beams or even I beams for an I6. I've heard that the Egas BA rods are prett strong too. Also could you retrofit these to a 250 X flow or are they different journal sizes?
