ahh i know what u mean, my mum drives a ZJ fairlane and drove my el fairmont ghia once in winter with the heater on, had to pull over to open the door as it was too hot, she didnt know how to open the windows or turn down the heat!!! but now she wants my car but the ol man hates new cars haha. he got an old XC wagon with a 351 on straight gas, goes pretty ok to for a big ol car.

if you were in melb i would gladly give you a hand with the existing system, prob the easiest way would be to buy a power amp with a high input (speaker input) insteat of RCA(if the existing HU does not have RCA out) then do your best to find an 8inch sub for the parcel shelf. the remote power can be ran off the acc power if you cant find a constant 12v from the HU with radio off.

The Coustic 241-SE amp has all the connections you need and x-overs to run a sub. I have one bridged running a 10" JL audio sub. it has all the power i need, they arent all that expensive but a good amp at the price $240 ex display JB HI-FI.

well you have the power sorted, i dont think the mid series had rca out so you may have to use high out (parallel from your rear speakers) make sure the amp from AU2 has this option if it does you're rockin!
