Hi all I was just wondering where and how much for new Ford AU six injectors?
I dont want to clean them..I am after new ones.

Dont dismiss genuines from Ford. When I priced a set for my ED about 12 months ago they told me $240 for the set. My brother in law at the same time bought after markets for his Exa at $240 each (thank god Falcons arent rice). So shop around.

I dont want to clean them..I am after new ones. Why don't you want to clean them? If they are done properly they are as good as new. To clean them properly they need to be removed from the car, those in-car cleaning systems (carbonclean) IMHO just don't cut it. Fuel additives as well. To clean them off the car cost around $20ea.

Repco do AZNEW injectors changeover... not sure on pricing.
www.aznew.com.au Note - same as getting your own injectors cleaned really.

Good luck trying to get the original ones from ford for the 6's, they were discontinueda little while ago.
Not sure what Ford use these days but cleaning is definately worth the while. Not much more than $20 an injector if you take them out yourself.

ER9F593A - that is the ford part# for the AU 6cyl injectors. they are not discontinued, at $120 each you's think they would be though.

Sorry bout that........didn't read into the post enough.
I assumed it was for the EF/EL 6 cylinder injectors which have been discontinued., not AU......my bad!!!

If its fuel economy that is the problem have you checked the HEGO sensors in the exhaust which determine the amount of oxygen passing through the exhaust, therefore communicates with the ECU as to whether the car runs rich or lean?
If not, get a diagnostics test on it and if its a problem grab 2 HEGO's for about $120 each from Ford.

Well after changing coil leads and plugs ,I turned to the injectors with a vengeance.3 bottles of fuel injector cleaner its going quicker.Still a little rough at idle.I removed the plugs and number 3 plug was slightly wet with fuel!! So fingers crossed its just that crapphouse injector all this time!!
Ps got 6 second hand injectors and fuel rail for 40 dollars!! Theyve gotta be better than the leaky one!!
