cam went in today.

good improvement throughout the range, concentrated in mid range with torque. going slow at 1500 rpm then flooring it generated some nice wheelspin :) although i'm sure that the rain played a bit of a part in that.

job was done at crescent motorsport and i would thoroughly recommend them to everyone. Great attitude and know what they are doing.

Only extractors to go then I should be done.

aha i 'tested' the cam a bit more than when i was driving home from the workshop, very very pleased. i might not have burnt out the first set of tires but trust me they got a few bruises today :)

reason i was considering selling is because rego coming up is 800 out of my pocket (600 ctp greenslip since i'm under 21 and don't have the best driving record), and i can always drive dads car around when i need to since he's always at home at night.

probably will keep her though, would love to see an ef/el donk in her sooner or later.

i've got those extractors, aren't bad. they were on the car when i bought but all that was done was wat was mentioned before, a cut n shut job.

i think the original manifold is cast iron though
