I'm looking to buy a new HU for my EF fairmont in the near future. What I was looking for is a MP3 HU which also can also have the standard Fairmont Stack connected to it. I know that the stacker won't play MP3 as long as it can still play CD's and MP3 through the HU front loader. Not sure if it can be done. Any advied will be appreciated

I guess it could be done, if a new cd player with provision for a stacker was bought. But it would also depend on the output signal of the stacker. Im guessing it wouldnt be RCA's, so would most likely be high level input. Therefore it should be able to be wired up with a bit of fiddling
