IIRC it's a different mount, a cluster from an XH may fit, but then you'll have dramas with the wiring and the lack of all the signals from the ECU

so, your saying that you fitted it and then asked wether it fits?

please show pics. love to do this to my ute if it works.

was under the impression that an ea dash would fit, but would be a prick to do, but an xg would be the best and easiestt.

IIRC the EA-ED cluster is the same as the XG, and it bolts straight in, but you need the XG cluster surround, and you need to rewire the plugs to suit

Are you using the xg surround, the xf surround, or custom?

How hard was the wiring to rig up, as easy as matching up the two looms electrically, or were there mods that had to be done for them to talk to each other..

It is a real shame that you haven't got a digi-cam, makes life heaps easier than trying to explain it to people like me  ...

congrats on getting it in there. keep us posted on progress, as I said I'm looking to replace the dash in my ute, gone through 2x s-pack clusters so far and would like something a bit more modern and reliable to replace it with.

Ford has got the bracket you need to fit ef el instuments into xf, xh surround is the easiest fit but you still need to modify it some,

Cool......
Do EF-EL dashes come with tachos? I am thinking hard about cutting out the pressed tin shas in our '69 Transit and fitting an XF S-pack complete dash and heater system in its place, but maybe an EF would be even nicer. Of course anything is better than an old Cortina dash jammed in a roughly cut hole in the original dash.......

Ford part number for the bracket is EDC 10843A cost about $70 from memory.
