Simply : Yes.

I'd suggest Winton as a starter, frequent events, lower speed track, simply licencing requirements.

done alot with Jag club at winton, cost about $120 entry for the day, annual club entry you will need to check the Jag club of Vic, and about $55 for a club cams licence, then the obvious like tyres and and other consumables.

Doing it through a club is the better way as you get regular calander race days, better run than open days too..

No, pretty hard to get people to commit to a $40 drag day, let alone a $100+ track day.

Ford Drivers are soft :(

There are plenty of opertunities to get out there.
Just need to know where to look.

if you're willing to wait a couple of months, there is a Fun Day on the 4th July

Winton runs Fun days 3 times a year.
Its basically an easy introduction to Circuit work.

$30 gets you on the track for the day, 1/2 hour sessions.

basically a chance for people to go '80%' to give beginers a chance to get a feel for it.

If you havnt done a track day before then its deffiantely recommended, i've done it twice now.
