Huggiebear, when I put the EL swaybar in my EB I used the EB Link rod and bushes.

Gidday All
Well, I had the EB at the NSW All Ford Day at Warwick Farm last Sunday. Had a great day out, and there was lots of great cars to look at. As part of my prep work, I added some more EL parts to the interior. Thanks once again to Paulmac for the parts. I put in the EL Rear Parcel Shelf, which really tidied up the things. 
While I had it out I installed the factory 8" sub, which will be set up later. The other parts were the A Pillar covers. My EB ones were really faded. In addition they left a gap when the EL dash was installed. The EL covers are a much nicer grey, and fill the gap nicely. EB Pillars

The dash looks more complete now. While at the AFD and seeing the EB was clean and polished, I took the opportunity to take some pics.

Wash and polish!!! That truly is a budget effective means of improving the look and value of a car.
Looks great but seems on the simple side compared to all the other things you've done. LOL One wonders why this cheap and simple improvement had not occurred to your devious and complex mind earlier. Ahhh I know, it's not really available at the wreckers at bargain prices!!! Cheers, Mac

The Ef/L front suspension is a half day swap. I swapped out my bent K-frame and steering rack in half a day.
The Lane front end looks great on a wagon I totally agree. It'a a shame the later models were not so different as I would love to dress up my wagons with more than a grille/bonnet/bumper that really looks almost the same except for the chrome grille.

I am working on the next mod. Re the LTD Wagon. I snapped this locally to me and quite like it. 
I would seriously consider doing this if I had a wagon. BenJ

That photo of the wagon BENJ - It's got EF door handles too me old mate...
Hmmmph... There's a UTE down the way from me with a LTD grill ** ESACTLY ** the same as what you've taken a photo of, other than the fact it is a UTE. Looks quite nice, but a little too much like a HOLDEN of earlier vintage... Don't know what makes me think "Holden" when I see it, but it is just a little... Eur... I don't know... I have decided on a silver blue colour for my wagon (when I can afford it - could be years away yet!)... Colour is taken from a Suzuki Swift, but you can see similar on a number of those new small cars like Honda Jazz or Nissan Micra. The Suzuki silver / blue is bloody nice, as is their silver / gold. Since my interior is all black and blue, I figure I'll go with the silver blue option... I want chrome bits in the centre of the trims (will dust off photoshop and show you...) Am never going to have chrome rims, although once the paint is done I will re-visit the issue! Cheers BENJ - You've been an inspiration for my interior and a source of motivation to keep on plodding away on these cold, wet, NZ days. 'fiend' thats a nice ride you have there, but why make such an elaborate post about your wagon in Ben's EB sedan buildup thread when you have your own build thread.
And BenJ, the wash/polish really made the colour stand out, looks great |

Sorry --- Got a bit carried away when I saw Huggiebears idea being so similar to mine... And the LTD front end on the old BOX style wagon... And... Well... I don't know - I think I'll go visit the doc and get my prescription altered...
SORRY BENJ OLD MATE... Rock on... Have been working on putting together my own build thread, and (some would say "god help me") the start of it will be uploaded tonight... And FordFairmont dude - It only takes me a few minutes to do the photoshop thing, so I don't think of it as "elaborate" or somesuch. All good tho - BENJ has my respect and here's my last message on his primo thread in relation to my own budget endevours. |

Phew, no sweat old brother - just wish my rocker cover and air pipes had come up like FordFairmont boys... Never mind, next time I have a few spare days with nothing better to do I might start on polishing up some engine bits again.
All good man - let the normal service resume... I have my eyes on some GT style side-skirts that the guy can chop in the middle and add 70mm to so as to fit the wagon... $200 odd dollars I don't have!!! |

hey BenJ just have read the whole lot and wow not bad mate looks great, starting to give me ideas now with my EB have an EF Engine sitting here think that and a better condition trans will be first and I think I'll be referring to your guide a lot, so thanks in advance.
Can't wait to see whats next |

Nice work BENJ, i love it. I still have yet to fit the EF A pillar trims to fill that gap, atleast i know they fit good now.
