Small update.
The engine and auto are out of the ED Ghia. Thanks to Racedirector who dropped around and gave me a hand. 
Then we towed the ED up the drive and pushed it to where the wagon is in the background of the first pic. The wagon now sits waiting for me to start pulling out the engine and box. Racedirector and I did remove the clutch fan already. I have lined up some thermo fans to go in, and am trying to gather the parts for a Serpentine Belt conversion. I noted that the radiator in the Wagon is a Natrad job and was installed mid 2006 according to the label. Would you believe that the wagon with its HUGE towing setup didn't have an auto cooler? I have borrowed the auto cooler off the ED Ghia so the auto can cope with my driving. LOL Now, those of you who followed my EB Budget Buildup thread, may remember some work I had planned regarding an old bonnet. Well the good news is, work is progressing steadily. Paulc of South West Customs is doing a fabulous job. I grabbed a couple of pics. I am quite excited!!!

looking good ben... would you believe that my lane had a haymen reece towbar aswell and self leveling suspension and i too dont have an auto cooler... tho i got the one off my EL wagon which is almost radiator size lol the old XD-XF also had radiator size coolers

god damn your driveway looks like a nightmare for engine swaps...how do u puck them up that hill without an engine?

We towed the ED up the hill with the red EB. Once we got it to the top it was simply a case of pushing it to where it resides now. The wagon would never have got it up the hill! 
Ben has a better driveway than I do for engine swaps. At least where we dragged the engine out was flat! Oh, and it was good to see you again Ben, and to help you get the engine out of the Ghia... See ya again soon .... Cheers RD

Hugggiiiieeee, the wagoon has no towbar at the moment. DOH!!!
As Racedirector said, we used the towbar on my Red EB and the towbar on the ED ghia and just pulled it up the hill. Quite a simple operation really. Well, I just got back from Pick N Payless with a bunch of goodies. I managed to find an EL with the key still in the Ignition, so I grabbed the ignition barrel and drivers door lock. This way I will be able to lock the wagon and then unlock it again. At the moment I can lock the doors but not unlock them - Not Good. Had to climb through from the back LOL. I also got a fuel pump motor. Just hope it works. And there are no doubts now. The little towbar cover that goes over the hole in the rear bar will fit both the sedan and the wagon. Just need to paint it. I also found an EA wagon that has the vent covers that go behind/infront of the taillights. Mine were missing. But the best pick up was the two inch lowering blocks and Ubolts!!!!! They were in an EB wagon. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw them. On another note, I tried to fit the EB2 windscreen wiper cowl on the wagon, but it is not meant to be. The EB1 is very different and there is no way they will ever fit. I will be able to fit the later windscreen wipers, which look much nicer. I will clean up and paint the current wiper cowl. Cheers BenJ

well i knew one of your cars had a towbar lol...
good score at the wreckers hey. whats the difference between series 1 and 2 wiper arms? |

The early wiper arms don't have a cover over the nut and are thinner looking at the base.
The later arms look more modern and streamlined. BenJ

You jammy bugger! I was going to call into PnP yesterday on the way home but didn't have a $2.00 coin. Now I am kicking myself for not doing it!!!

Ben, you can do the cowl cover but will have to change over the wiper motor assembly too I believe. There is a fella on FFAU who converted his NC Fairlane.

Now that is interesting. I have a spare EB2 wiper motor assembly here. Time for further experimentation. Barnacus? What size lowering blocks do you have in your wagon? BenJ

BenJ Barnacus mentioned in his build thread 2 1/2" when I asked. He has 6cyl Kings lows in the front. Cheers RD

Huggie, I don't know about the chassis being the same.
The windscreen is different. It is wider, and shorter. I will play with it some more, but I don't think it will work. BenJ PS. The lowering blocks are in the wagoon now
