 That does look pretty good, but for now the Advanti Volts off the Lane will have to do.
Got it for $1100 with 5 weeks rego and a pink slip, and she runs as smooth as ........ :P
Bit of oxidation on the bonnet, the paint has come off the front windscreen trims, and the centre console lid is rooted. Other than that.......nothing wrong at all. I couldn't believe that the bloody roof lining hasn't sagged one bit and the back boot area looks like nothing has ever been in there. Even the AC and cruise control works

my dad shouted me 2 new tyres as the old ones were unsafe, so new tyres all round, tyre shop said free tyre change and fit/balance with the new rim when i pick it up

next on the list is superlows and the lowering blocks... i have a set of ultralows (SSL) front and rear from an EL sedan, happy to swap for a set of front superlows for EA-EL, thats right 2 springs swaps for a complete set of 4

im stoked with the look of the car now... once i lower it and get the exhaust done ill probably leave it at that externally for a while. toying with the idea of throwing a turbo on, no cooler just BBM conversion and pipe it straight to the TB.. not for any serious power but something to help it move along and have some fun in on skidpan days lol

Now that does look good :D . That ride height actually looks quite centered and balanced.
But a lowered wagon does look the part eh!

well i no longer hit the towbar exiting my parents driveway.. so its raised the car a bit.. i would have thought with the profile tyres it has on it would be the same as the 15's.. oh well im happy, once i pick up this other FTR to replace the buckled one ill be happy.

the tyre shop said dont destroy it/use it as a garden hose holder, he is pretty sure it can be used as a spare safely, since im driving on it now i think thats the way ill go

no one has noticed the new door strip to fall off lol. first its the rear door, then today i pull up and walk around and see it partly hanging off so instead of it falling off down the highway i decided to just rip it off, ill go buy tape tomorrow and clean them all up and redo them.. they have been done at some stage and not good either. i want new doors so i dont mind if they fall off :P

Hey Huggie.

The Wagon is looking clean and tidy now. Sometimes, less is more, and I think it looks better this way.

So, what about that T5 hey?

Cheers

i got the spiggot bearing, it still has the throw out bearing on the box along with the clutch fork.. all i need to complete the T5 setup now is the floor rubber to seal the weather out, and a machine of the fly wheel etc..

will be a few weeks before its in with the new motor and dash skin

I agree on waiting to put it in with the new motor. You can bolt it all up to the new donk much easier outside the car, and then put it in as one unit.

thats the plan.. tho i have been toying with the idea of the turbo as mentioned before and im thinking if im going to throw a non intercooler turbo system for s**t and giggles i might aswell just throw the EF motor in and then hunt down another EF/EL motor for the supercharged fairlane...

choices choices choices

maybe i should start a poll lol
