So are you going to do an ICC upgrade? With the HI series cluster do you realise that you will lose your trip functions?

Yes I realise this. It will be upgraded around christmas time. I'm not really fussed about seeing my distance to empty etc as I know I get roughly 550km to a tank.
Waiting on my tax return now (hopefully about 4g), then I'll be getting the diff with gears, and gearbox installed at the same time. Once that's done, get the cams and injectors in and get her on the dyno for a tune  plus get some better tyres once I start frying these crappy a** Nexen's lol

Small update!
Have fitted my 22mm Adjustable rear sway bar, and put in new links up the front for the 30mm bar. Car handles like a dream! Unfortunately, I might need to upgrade to the heavy duty links, as I'm getting a little bit of touching of the sway bar to the control arm when it pre-loads. Also just ordered and paid for BF GT Bodykit (minus the GT Wing) with V8 Steel Bonnet from SSV. Had massive issues with the current bodykit not fitting at all. Plus the SSV parts come with all brackets, meshes, inserts etc etc and they fit up perfectly with no f!cking around. Once I've finished with the gearbox and diff install, I'll have the bodykit painted and fitted and have a few scratches here and there fixed up with some respray. Then get the car in for a custom tune, while I save for newer injectors, crow cams with valve springs and a port & polish with a final tune. Fingers crossed for Christmas time to be finished

Nice mate! Yeah SSV make (well source) really good quality stuff. I only had a 27mm up front so perhaps thats why mine doesn't touch.
Y not wait to get everything done then tune it - will save yourself money that way

As the speedo will be out severely if I don't get it tuned. It will only cost a couple hundred to get a retune done.

ahhh yeah fair enough! I guess get a basic tune and get the speedo sorted, then once mods are done get the full proper treatment

Yeah, I guess. We'll see how much I get back on tax return aye. If I can get $4,000+ then I'll only have to wait about a month before slapping the rest of the goodies in.

Lol that must of sucked! I've paid way too much tax this year, especially while I was overseas in Malaysia.
Anyways, just purchased a T5 Rip Shifter. 40% Short Throw, 100% CNC Machined from billet steel. This will save me from destroying 2nd and 3rd when I'm smashing gears lol Also on the hunt for the gearstick boot vinyl and shifter surround. On ebay they're $60 and $90 each, far too expensive for what they are. The shifter surround is just a piece of plastic, and it's $90 + $15 postage... such a rip off.

Give it 2-3 months for gearbox install and bodykit lol just saving up at the moment to help speed things along. Could always get bodykit painted up straight away, then just use tax money on the gearbox install.

Car is booked in for the 15th of October.
What's getting done? First off, getting the auto out. Piss that s**t off lol Put the 5speed conversion in with the ripshifter installed. New LSD with 3.9 diff gears. Then she's up on the dyno, to be fully tuned. Hopefully have the new twin 2.5" exhaust on by that stage, or at least a new cat (i think mines turned to s**t lol)
