ill be having a crack at it next weekend, see how it goes, depending ill more then likly sell the EL motor off by itself and either get and EF motor or just sell the car for what i got it for.

just read threw your thread nd thought some nice dark tint would be a good p plater mod

hahah didnt think of that, ...looks like im fading from Ps into blacks lol
it has tint, think its darkest legal, not sure but its fairly nice.

ohk mines got the darkest legal for qld if you wanna have a squiz at my gallery
its pretty dark
another couple p plater mods are pod filter nd catback exhaust

yeh i had a look at your waggin, pretty tidy, like your mags.
yeh i was thinking of a cat back exhaust but cant spend money on the exhaust with out motor atm lol.
im going to try drop the waggin next weekend as well if any one interested in that leaf spring mod, link below

if this was going to be my good build i would go AU motor :lol:
but save that goodo stuff for my EL fairmont 8cyl (when i find one to buy :P )

yeh thats true enough

sweet mines on 2 inch blocks which makes it pretty much level if you get what i mean?

There is a LOT more work to get an AU motor to fit in your EF wagon, than to swap a few parts from your EF engine to the EL engine.

man its enough work pulling a motor out.
im gonna look for EF motor, dont need nothing specail anyway, its only a car for me to get parts, transport my bike with trailer, and for the missus to drive.

yeh the back sticks up in the waggins, i wana pull the back down like 4 inchs at least, have it sit around same hieght as super lows in sedan.

Agreed.

But at the moment he is baulking at unbolting and swapping over a few components from one engine to the other.

Not sure if he can manage an AU swap. :D
