Mate, seriously, i wouldn't touch it with a 10ft long wrench. The guy sounds dodgy as f**k. i love the way he says he will contact the bank to get it paid off for you.....as if he is doing you a favour or something. Seriously, NU is the one to go! my LTD carves up in the snow, always has traction. must be the weight lol, and face it, it's not going to snow for ever. Do you really need 4wd?!

And the price of the NU you can't comlain, i have seen one or two with 280,000k for like 3G. they go forever, there are ones on there with like 500,000k! when it goes, just buy a new VCT, think of all the mods you could do, VCT is already there, pretty sure they have a tickford tune too??

my 2c

Yeah the NU's with VCT have Tickford tune and IRS aswell. HOWEVER - my mate has just got back to work from aus and wants to straight swap for his GT wagon, new wof and whatever needs doing, goes good, no where near 4L torque but good none the less...

Yeah f**k the dude with the grand wagon and mr ranfurly, both have f**k around and both are dodgy  I don't have any pennys right now so an NU would have to wait till end of year and then there will be no more snow :(

Gave the mont a good run last night though taking my mate for a ride for her birthday before it goes, plenty of screams and smoke and a** going lateral :D

Well there is your answer, swap for her Soobie, then tidy it up (more if already tidy) write an awesome blurb for it and sell it off later on to pay for the NU. Is she good looking? lol

Sadly, the EA is gone. I see it every day at work, and it looks nicer every time. The guy absolutely loves it, which is cool cos it means someone appreciates the work put into it.

Swapped it for his 94 GT Suby, which had grinding under the hood, shot steering and a smashed windscreen. So he gave me $500 with it.

Fixed the windscreen for $350, bought a steering pump for $41 at pik n stash, and voila, one pretty good nick legy. It's got a full body kit, pro tints, 18" of mag with 225 directionals on, no rust and 235k's on it, so I'm fairly certain it's had a reduild at some point cos it don't use no oil! Decent head unit too, fusion, and I even got to take it up the mountain on the weekend, getting waved on as hondas and corollas put their chains on :D

I hear the Soobie s**t box might be morphing itself into a FORTE in the near future.

You should be able to afford to give a poor man a lift to send his crank to Gisbourne... Uncanny bugger.

Cats outa the bag.

Apparently one 94 Legacy GT Manual with bells and whistles = one 99 Forte duel fuel + 2g

Dude couldn't come up with the cash, but gave me $100 off the bat while I hold his 16gb Ipod and a more than full brand new tattoo set up as collateral.

:D Going for the wof tomorrow so we'll see what gremlins pop up to say "ngaaa f**k you, feed me money"

Well that s**t heap was full of rust which was easy to see asa soon as it was up on the hoist. Big samoan falla was very obliging with giving me back my subbie. So now voila, as per novel in Fiends thread, I now have a 93 EBII Fairmont Ghia V8:
