I hope I get offered a reasonable amount for it... Only just switched to full compo about a week and a half before it happened...

They are gonna investigate that for sure then, Was it insured for agreed or market value? 2 very different values.

market value... Unfortunately... I was thinking of changing it over if they had let me... Police were in attendance and tow truck was called so was far from deliberate...

Possibility of obtaining it later this week or early next week. My boss has a tilt-slide tray and has agreed to pick it up. Then stripping will commence so out will come almost everything leaving a little more than a shell. Just have to find another EF sedan to replace it... Should be a nice little excercise.

i'm stripping it down, reusing parts I want, keeping some spare parts and selling whatever I can.
Might keep the engine and make a slow build out of it...

haha as if I'd lose the ford spirit. I'm probably the least likely person to switch. :D

Not sure what parts I'll be selling off. The side mirrors and thermofans have already had dibs on them. Let me guess... Your after the manual conversion ey? Sorry to say mate but that's one of the main reasons I'm getting it back, unless I find another manual ef sedan... Apart from that, are you chasing some parts?

Nah nah, just was interested, I have to get the dough factor for conversions :) and my work mate knows a wrecker (he's an ex mechanic) so that can all be sorted, I just wasn't sure how much you'd wrecked in the crash, left side looks nasty, were your rims salvageable? It would be a shame if they weent, they looked so good :)

ah ok it's always good to have connections... The left front rim I dare say would be rooted but if still usable I might consider getting them powder coated black, so the rash is alot less noticable.

Let's just say you can't open either door on the left side. Pushed in B-pillar a bit, ripped the lower ball joint right apart and popped the tyre off the rim. Bonnet is untouched despite how close the damage is to it on the left guard. Also a little rear quarter damage too. But no broken mirrors or windows... Which is a plus I guess seeing as I had 20% tint on them.

decision is still pending on what I might do with engine bits and pieces. I'll keep you posted mate.

that is a bonus, are you gonna put them on your new car? they look awsome! my car came with purplish window tint. doesnt look too bad :) bloody hell, so its not really worth trying to fix is it? too much dammage i suppose. especially when you can pick up another one for a couple of grand, maybe even under one if your good. black rims look slick :D could you not get them repaired or something?
