Alrighty folks, time for another update

Had a delivery of some gear today.....all I can say is I am still drooling!

The plan is to get everything bolted up to a niceish au engine in the next couple of weeks and drop it straight into the el. Also gives me room to make all the wiring for the haltech neat in the engine bay.

Going to be driving a dunga multicoloured ef for a few weeks while this is off the road, will be fun!

Speccies:

Turbo is a Garrett GT40 with .85 exhaust and .58 intake
50mm external wastegate
Snort performance tuned manifold
300x600 3" intercooler

Going to be running a Haltech e6x as I have given up with the J3.....no live tune = useless for trying to tune an engine....Ordered and paid for it on friday so it should be here in the next week.....cancelled the order on the stinger as I didn't like the look of the software for them and the internal map sensor...

The cat is a 3" one from a BF xr6t....not planning on putting it on straight away, but it will be handy to have as I intend on getting this engineered at some point

Meant to be superlows in the front and lows in the rear. I have a gas tank in the boot which weighs it down abit....hence the rear looks slightly lower than the front!

Found myself a nice low k AU engine, so will be picking that up this week

Thats only going to be a temporary fill the hole engine until I finish building my el engine, or I blow it up.....either way :)

Sounds like fun Simon. Just out of curiosity, what did the second hand AU motor set you back? You can PM the price if you like.

Hi Simon, good looking project. Did you buy a VCT engine or just the standerd AU motor?

Hey blueoval, My AU VCT engine cost $650 with 105,000 kays on it, They are dirt cheap.
