Well as you would of seen in the "ask Papa Smurf" thread George has decided to hang up the spare parts computer log on and put his feet up. In recognition of the amount of help he has given so many members of this site it has been decided that a happy retirement and Thankyou Barbie is in order.

The time and place is Saturday May 19 at Prospect Reservoir picnic area starting at 12.30pm.
It is a BYO event. There will be a hot plate supplied so just bring what you want to eat and some communial nibblies if you are the sharing kind.

It is just a small get together to wish George all the best in his retirement and to say thanks for all he has done to help people. If you can only swing by for half an hour that's cool. We will be running a very loose laid back timetable for the day.

I will provide a map when I get near a real computer instead of an iDud unless someone gets in and photobombs me first. Hope to see many of you there be it for 5 minutes or for the whole afternoon.

How to get there
Travelling west on the M4:

Take the Prospect Highway exit
Turn left at the roundabout, and right at the T-intersection
The entrance to Prospect Reservoir is the second turn to the left.

If travelling east on the M4:

Take the Reservoir Road exit
Turn right onto Reservoir Road
The entrance is approximately two kilometres on the right

Sad to hear your retiring mate because I was about to ring you about getting some new wiper arms and bits and pieces for the AU XR

You have certainly done your time. at least now you have more time to polish the car hehe

Wish I could be there but I have a busy month with detailing
However once the weather turns warmer I'll be in sydney definately for business so will make sure to catch up

I've just got here and have got us a spot in the first picnic area on the right hand side a few hundreds meters past Peckys disabled centre.
The carpark is on the right. Keep an eye out for the Maverick.
See everyone soon !
