Is it a clunky when the car changes gears? Or just when you speed up or slow down?
I sometimes get a bit of a clunk when I speed up or slow down (no noise, just a jolt)
From what I've read it's not major unless it's a really big jolt or it makes an audible noise

It's clunky when the car changes gears - like dropping gears etc. It does make a noticeable jolt and noise too. Wasn't too bad yesterday though, still rather it not do it at all[/quote]
doesn't sound good :/ did u get it looked at?

Yep mines exactly the same, I was in a 2010 g6 taxi on Sunday and it was much much worse than what mine is, almost crapped myself when the car did it lol

I dunno, maybe I'm just being pedantic again, ill get my mechanic to take a look at it at the next service

I would get it checky. Mine doesn't make a noise, just a bit of a jolt here and there.
But either way if you're ever worried your car is doing something abnormal always take it to a pro ;)

Recently I am starting to notice my cars diff and/or transmission clunking more than usual, it can be felt and heard really badly sometimes, other times not so much. What could be the problem?

Mine does that too :( it's worst when you come to an almost-complete stop, then go to take off again. At my 90k service, Ford told me that the centre diff bush had blown, and that they would replace it but they told me to wait until they all went so they could replace all 3 at once (I don't know what the other 2 are but apparently there are 3?). That was in March.... it's almost due for the 105k service and it hasn't got any worse, but I'm taking the car on a roadtrip up to QLD for Christmas so I'll get it all done before then anyway. Hopefully that fixes it :/
