Which input shaft did you use for the G'force 'box? '94, or earlier? The early Mustang input shafts are shorter than ours and the '94+ are longer.

I'm not sure Scaffy but its all been mocked up and seems to fit. The only issue we had was the shifter postion was a few inches shorter than the original box and we had to cut the trans tunnel to fit.

Did you buy a Mustang bellhousing to go with it? Does the tailshaft fit, or does it need to be lengthened?

I'm looking forward to see how she performs, to say the least.

Scaffy, I used the standard bell housing. Basically from what i understand is the mustang box is exacally the same as our's! The only differences being the shifter location and the mounting bracket position ( I had to get a custom made bracket ).

Once the box is installed I'll give you an update on how it went.
Thanks for the interest mate!

I think it was on this forum, I posted photos in a thread in the transmission section showing the difference in length between the 2 different Mustang input shafts and ours. With any luck, it's not enough of a difference to cause you any problems.

Edit - Here's the link to the thread gearbox-suspension-brake-driveline-f4/usa-t5-questions-t102884.html
