Got any intake mods? As ya car can only breathe out what what it breathes in.

Ah k. I actually got the catback second hand, so you could say its already half carboned up. But with the muffler and cat being new, it could be a while still. Can't wait for that deep tone to develop though.

Nah I don't. :/ I was considering cutting 'Speed Holes' around the cold sides of the air box but I don't know if that would be a wise thing to do. Also an EL xr8 snorkel, that seems to be more than adequate. 3" stainless intake?
What would you recommend? (please don't tell me to look at "show us your intake mods", iv looked through every page. lol)

Sounds tops mate, really cool.
Your original exhaust sounded awesome too.

So... when are you getting a cam? haha

Cheers bruv!
Yea it did actually, but the reason I got this exhaust was because I wanted a proper 2.5" straight system and the fact that the resonator is at the rear so i can have a chance of getting up the top of our steep driveway without bottoming out (scrape point = rez). Its been sitting in the street for over a year! :/

Umm, a while yet mate. lol! deffinately one day though. Either a wade 1673, or 977b if i go down the T5 path ;)
I'm focusing more on cosmetics and electrics for now anyway.

She was a carby. Good old 250 crossy... The new owner however is dropping a 514 V8 in her.. I wish he left it as it was tbh...

Don't think there'll be too many updates for a while Russ. Got this little thing called year 12 VCE (or HSC as you's up there call it) to get out of the way. :/
Do have things brewing up in my head though. Thinking of a 'celis' tail light design, and a few chrome accents here and there. same old, same old.
Wade is gonna have to wait man, one day though...

Thanks Mate :)
Probably the mum doing the weekly shopping or something.
The plate seems to make it stand out doesn't it...

Ahhhhhh,
Year 12.....
It does make you hate life a little, but when it's over it will be the greatest!

What do you mean by "celis"? Sounds different.

And don't worry man, everything will come together if you really want it to.

'Hate' is an understatement...
Yep just waiting for that feeling of finishing my final exam.

Celis taillights are kind of like angle eyes, but straight. :)
BMW seem to use them on just about all of their cars now.
I just love how they appear perfect and symmetrical..

I hope I could make a set of EL taillights look just as good.

Yea true man, just gotta be motivated and everything else will follow :)

Cheers

oh wow... this is a niiiiice EL. surprised i haven't your car yet, i live in the yarra valley area. those EL GT's suit it so nicely, good height too.

props to you for chucking all the effort in during your final years of school, i'm doing VCE too and its a pig :\

definitely a huge fan of the GO BABY GO sticker. that just wins

Thanks man! i get quite a few comments about the height. I'm thinking of putting the old springs on (1 inch lower) but i'm still deciding.

pig is an understatement

haha, that was just for schitz and giggles.

Nah not really Russ. As stated above, this yr 12 business is a killah.
The only thing thats progressing on the car is its age; a bog job is starting to appear on the boot lid, brake booster has a crack (from the extractor heat im guessing), power steering hoses need to be replaced, and its also about 400km away from hitting the big 200K. Scary...
Other than that shes still going strong and looking presentable.
Hopefully in 3 months time, the mods will begin, or resume...
