So I decided to finally run my car down the strip tonight. What started out as 14.79 I ended up doing my best at 14.06! So damn close to 13s, and the car is basically stock.

The secret is all in the launches, nail that and you can pull a quick time. My first couple runs I wasn't launching hard enough, then i launched too hard and wheel spun then launched my 4th run and feathered the clutch just right to pull off the 14.06. I'm still smiling! Can't wait for the tune and to crack 13s.

Here is the time slip too :-)

Thanks mate, im heaps happy with it, perhaps could squeeze a 13 out of it if the stars alined etc but i think with the tune and decent launch I should be able to dip into the 13s :-)

Little update! Attended a dyno day on the weekend at Tunehouse. Ran my car with the tune and pulled 184kw and 462Nm of torque! Apparently it pinged on the second run so I will be looking into this as I'm not convinced,

Update time!

Received my Forge intercooler and piping during the week. Only took a week from Edge Auto Sports in the USA which was awesome! Fitted it up with my mate on the weekend, took a mammoth 7hrs from start to finish. The piping was a prick of a job and we had to use some of the stock coupling as the Forge coupling as too long and causing odd angles.

As always, lots of pics

Stock scoop and AGS, man what a load of wasted space

Everything removed

I know a few people fitting other intercoolers had to make brackets for their MAP sensor, excellent British engineering, no problems here!

So many parts!

COMPLETED!

thats mint as!
how does it go with the piping and cooler upgrage?
i love the XR5 focusss so this is something i love also.
thats some good power from such a mild setup lol. would be pretty crazy for you to be over 200rwkw with just what you've done and maybe a tweak here and there.

Thanks mate, yeah with the heat yesterday the cooler and piping made a huge difference, could really feel the extra pull it had. Plus the turbo sounds awesome now. Yeah definitely aiming for at least 200 front wheel kw :-)

Hey guys, so I had bought these anti torque steer bushes from the UK a little while ago, finally got around to getting them installed! Wow such a difference! Would probably have reduced the torque steer by about 50%. The install is an effort, took the shop about 2.5 hours to get it all done, even gave them a lick of paint They are the rear bush on the front lower control arm - as always lots of pics!

Link to the bushes themselves - http://www.collinsperformance.com/shop- ... cus-st250/

Hey guys I need some help!

So my Milltek 3" Non-resonated exhaust showed up today, now it can keep my CPE Dump pipe company, hopefully fitting it up this weekend.
