I do know they run longer rods and shorter pistons.
This would play a part I would immagine.

If your only goal is going to be 200-250kw, then yes an AU bottom end isn't worth the hassle.

Stock EF/EL rods are more then strong enough to do what you want them to, So are ACL race series pistons.

If you really have that much extra money add an atomic mains girdle and main studs to the E series bottom end.
At that power level an unported early head is a better option.

Yeh i got a tickford head so thats ok, do i need to do the piston or will the stock ones be ok how much for acl ones probly just rebuild the bottom end with acl bareings and arp of atomic studs sould be good for 250 hopefully

Which pistons you use will be determined by the amount of wear on the bores.
Get your machine shop to measure for taper and out of round.

A round and true bore with good ring fit will make more power the a worn bore.
Ignore the people that tell you there is no power in the bottom end.

Thats not a guaranty that bores are good for a standard sized piston.
More often then not it's in the top 25mm of bore that the most wear is and that is the critical bit. Poor ring seal there will loose you power.
At that sort of Km the thought of trying to use a standard size piston wouldn't even cross my mind.

i wouldnt say it isnt worth the hassle, yes ef/el rods are slightly stronger but if your going with spool rods i would go with the au bottom end for the added rigidity from the sump bolting to the main caps..
in saying that ive been getting around 270rwkw on a stock au bottom end at 12psi for over 2 years now..
maybe im pushing the limit a bit, but its holding in there.. :)
