i know this is a silly question lol
but what power can i expect running 10:1 comp with the wade 1636 cam in an EB2? (and obvious exhaust etc to suit)

been trying to find info on setups with raised comp but doesnt seem too common, or at least i cant find much info on setups running similar combos?

eep sorry just auto
if it was manual i would love the 977b :D
been trying ti find info on people running the 1673 in an auto to decide if the slightly laggy first gear (due to stock stall) is worth the top end power, but guess its not a common combo to start with lol

if the 1636 will provide decent power with the 10:1 comp then it might be the go, if not then ill just bight the bullet and give the 1673 a go

Theres a few on here running the wade 1673 in an auto and say it goes very well and have next to no issues with the idle which is funny cause wade dont recommend it in an auto without a higher stall or chip. Not saying that the people running them are wrong just saying that if you want the 1673 you'd be better off with a higher stall and lower diff gears to make up for any loss down low.

Id go with the 1636, a lot of people with a worked auto 6 use it and have no regrets, but there are others that say that you lose out on top end a bit seeing as its generally a low-mid range grind. Id say running the 1636 with your 10:1 comp and exhaust and intake mods etc. you'd be looking at mid to high 130's at the wheels, not far off 140kws if the rest of the engine and trans are in good nick and not robbing you of power. That's my estimate though. Someone who's actually running the 1636 with a similar combo will be more helpful

yeah im not concerned about the idle quality at all
id say the main reason they dont recommend it with the auto is due to the higher power band, but yeah its hard to find info on just how bad it is.
i just want to make sure im getting the best choice as its the same price for either cam, so really if its not that big a deal with the auto, i might lean towards that

thanks for the input mate

Im keen on getting a dyno when my EL hybrid arrives and goes into car, what figures are ppl getting from there EL hybrid engines with just the exhaust decent CAI and minor engine work.

But my guess would be that ill get 60+ kw gained alone from my subwoofer, and if i lower my seat right back it will make the car more stream line and ill go faster.

Regards.

Thanks for the pics man, that looks so simple, i wanna do it

Leaves quite a lot of room to work on that side of the engine too, no more BBM in the way of things.
