markr154 Ahhh I realise what you mean now. Yes the pre-load mechanism is exactly that. Previously I would miss the 2-3 shift on just about every fast change, however since installing the steeda shifter I have not missed the 2-3 shift once! So yes, it is the same style of mechanism, at half the cost!!

With regards to thes strip/street setups, it is essentially the same whether you choose the tri-ax handle. Using your factory shift handle, uses the rubber mounts, or the tri-ax bolts direct to the shifter, giving a much firmer feel. The downside is, yes, there is more noise in the cabin, but meh. I can live with that for the feel I get :D

That's just what I wanted to hear!

This is a steal, ...looks like quality gear, too. :P

Thanks for thinking about us!

Now, ...when can we get the bastards?

Well seeing the response is better than I thought, I will do it in lots of 10.
SO the first 10 people that have the money get in on the first order.
Any other orders after that are in the 2nd order. That being said, the cut off date for all payments is July 21.

So if you have the money now, PM me for the bank account details, and when I have 10 peoples money together, I will place the first order. When the remainder have the money to me, I will place the second order.

Cheers

Wire transfer takes approx 5 business days, then shipping to me is approx 5 business days after that. Then 3 day postage to you, allow approx 3 weeks from the order being placed, ie. I have 10 peoples money. Takes a little while, but well worth the wait.

He was joking. Yes, as long as the overall order is still greater than 10, everyone gets the discount price.

And to all those who have sent me PM's about payment, thanks. For now I need to finish off the buy on ff.com.au, BUT i should be able to start taking your money next week. I just want the other buy finished as not to confuse the money.

I will send out a PM to all those who have put down their order early next week.

Cheers

For buying the handle on its own, I can get them in with someone who would want the shifter base only. HOWEVER if there is no one ordering shifter base only, they are a bit dearer as an individual item. I will also need to find out postage costs for the individual item and let you know.

Also Just to clarify, the Tri-Ax handle has a different thread to the Australian stock. to re-use the factory knob, I got an M12 taper tapp, and tapped out the nylon at the base of the knob.
By using the taper tap it does not touch the factory M10 thread at the top of the knob, allowing it to be re-used on the factory handle if wished.

Cheers
