Can anyone advise us on weather or not you can get really thin spacers for my brake situation? I put 6 pot brembo's and 355 discs and the inside of the inside spokes on the 2 piece is hitting by around 5-10mm so im thinking i need perhaps a 20-30mm spacer or thinner anyone heard of this?

You need wheels with brembo clearance. The caliper is too large for the wheels

Unfortunately, you will have to change wheels. Don't put spacers on; the wheel won't locate fully on the load bearing centre spigot and your wheel studs will be too short. You could get the wheel spokes machined out to clear the caliper, but this would be illegal and possibly affect the strength of the wheel.

A shame, they are nice wheels.

Mind you, I'd rather have those wheels than the brakes! :P

Not all spacers are large chunks of bolt on alloy. There are some available that are in 3mm or 5mm thickness that use your own wheel nuts and wont cause problems with hub locators. Just see any good tyre store

The definition of irony.
Spending a few grand on brakes and then fitting a $2 spacer so a set of incorrect fitting rims can be used.

I think id rather have s**t brakes than a dodgy spacer.

Autobarn sell the little thin spacers I had to buy some the other day when I fitted my brake upgrade. But I wouldn't really recommend it for your situation but as I was lucky enough to have longer hub that came with my brakes so it wont effect my wheel location on the hub.

"Real" hub adapters rather than spacers actually do keep a centre hub for the wheel to sit on, thus stopping any shear weight on the studs...

HOW MUCH spacing do you think you need? Surely not an inch (or 25mm) extra? If so, you'd be adding a couple of inches to the front track of your car - which may improve cornering anyway

If you only need a few MM then those thin spacers can work fine. I know people will diss you (and me for suggesting it) but too bad. If the hole in the middle of the wheel sits over the hub and supports the weight of the car (rather than relying entirely on the studs) then it is a legal and safe prospect.

Keep your wheels and your brakes.

they were actually fitted to try and reduce the brake dust.

thanks for the replys i went down to rim shop today and picked up a couple of 8 mm spacers just to see what sort of clearance i need to fit, and turns out im pretty much screwed as dummied it up with both spacers on the same stud so 16mm and it only gave me only bout 1-2mm clearance but the stud is too far gone.
