Replacement rack ends (tie rod assemblies) come in 14mm and 16mm - 14mm evidently for early EA's - but can anyone confirm that all later vehicles thru to EL are the same 16mm ones??

ef on should be 16mm threads.

yep ea and some series 1 ebs had 14mm but from eb2 onwards have the 16mm...

What he said ^^^^^^^^, but you can fit 16mm rack ends and TRE's to an EA/EB1.
I have a spanner for doing them.

A pair of Stilsons also works too, but marks up the rack end swivel housing.
