Got any photos of this "HOD" kit? or even a link to where you bought it.

ok sweet. I think i seen these before actually but they were in mates commodore which had s**t output anyways. I actually have hid lights installed in my BF headlights. i have them lowered quite alot so they dont spread to far infront but they dont blind other drivers and look sweet so im happy.

HID's will only work good in xr headlights as they have the projector lens

That's only for E series (ED-EL). AU on went back to reflector style headlights across the range.

I'm intrigued buy these HOD bulbs. Will investigate.

'ken oath.

It pains me, that FG for example missed the opportunity for LED tail lights, and projector headlights.
But I guess Ford AU are working on a shoe string budget. While Holden keep polishing turds and adding wheels.

Yea the base model ve's don't have the projector. But SS's n s**t have it. Even vz vy SS's had it. Enough about Holden . Mostly every car on the market has projector headlights . There such a better light beam and brightness even with out HID's , just normal bulbs .

Very very close.
The headlight pictured is 99% finished, just need to get a cap for the rear.
The other headlight needs a final clear coat then it is 99% finished too.

I will update that thread soon.
