They are a cone type LSD. Shimming it will only cause destruction, either fit a spool if your tight or a KAAZ 2 way if you want it done right.

Need to set preload if changing the pinion, not easy. Change tailshaft instead.

so a '93 EB2 3.27 will fit in a '88 EA 2.92 LSD?

otherwise i'll just use the '90 EA 3.23 LSD

not worried about 2/4 pinion as i once changed a 4 to a 2 with a 360 .... don't drive like that now lol ...

It should be a single spinner 3.45 IRS.

I seen this thread has been going a long time but couldnt find and insight to what i want to do. Atm i have a m75 in my xg that was orig single spinner, i got a ef 3.45 lsd diff and transfered the internals into my housing and its good, but i want more. Now my ? Is, can i het a better diff housing for it that would bolt straight in place of the original as i want to go to a set of 3.9 or 4.11 ratio with a locker to handle street and full blown burnout's. Or am i stuck with the m75? And i dont want to have to go to a 9 inch diff if possible
