Have you got a pic of the left hand pipe without the bumper bar on? I am curious as to where you routed it?

I wasn't too keen on the First clip with the dumpies at the diff, but the second clip sounds sweet as!
I'm tossed up between your system or NCIILANES system. What mufflers are you using? |

What mufflers are you using? Supercats, 2.5" megaflow or what ever they call them. Thank you all for your opinions and kind words. I'll need to buy some mandrel bends and fit them here and there to tidy the whole thing up but considering the whole lot only set me back $200, I'm mostly happy with it. Now for the LH side of things, I bent a pipe that goes under the axle up over the rear leaf and then it sort of wraps around the LH side of the fuel tank, spare wheel well, under the fuel filler and out the rear bumper. I'll take a couple of photos tomorrow. Ideally, I wanted to bend the pipe at 90* from the LH muffler and slanted across at 45* and then clear the diff, similar to the RH side, then have the pipe run along the front of the spare wheel well and another 90* bend to the LH side of the fuel tank and then out the rear. The method I used wasn't all that successful and I anticipated this hence the reason for buying oversized pipe. The sand in the pipe just couldn't cut it with the pipe press bending thingamijig. The hang up with the under the axle and over the leaf means that I cannot jack the back of the car up from the chassis but rather jack it from the plate that sits under the leaf springs. I'll fix this up with some mandrel bends later down the track. Now comes the time for thermo fan shopping..... |

Cool, thanks for that mate.
The pipe is a lot straighter than I anticipated. At full diff hang will the diff hit the exhaust? BenJ

BenJ Whilst I have only taken it for a few limited drives, I haven't had any pipe touching the diff or leaf spring however, once you jack the car up from the chassis, there will be contact which is less than ideal. I will revisit this area once I have a few happy wife credits back in the bank. {USERNAME} wrote: Damn that is a bloody nice looking wagon. Hope mine looks at least as good one day! Nice job on the zorst, saved yourself plenty of $$$$$ doing it DYI! Thanks Bruce, this is a keeper given that they were in such short supply from the factory. I need to attend to a few issues but only once the missus is friendlier |
