Still alot of work needed but can now start to see the shape its gonna be. I have to play around with the bottom of the rear bar to get the sides to flow with the flare, but hopefully by the end of the weekend it could be done

I am only runing spacers on the front but thyey are an extremely short term thing as I placed an order today for a custome set of adaptors in 45mm for the front and 15mm for the rear. the reason for theose sizes are to have the wheels sit out a little more to suit the flares and the small ones for the rear are because it will soon have an au xr ute lsd diff under it

There is NO WAY!! I would ever put spacers on a car :( Ive seen what happens when they come undone and it's not pretty and VERY dangerous and they have to be tourqued up every couple days to stop the nuts coming loose. Not to mention that spacers are illegal and unroadworthy.......

The 20's were on the car for less the 36 hours. They arent on the car at the moment as I am waiting for billet adaptors to arrive. The rear wont be running any spacers or adaptors as its getting an au ute lsd diff and I am looking into doing a front au suspension job or using adaptors to just use on rare occassions untill I can do the au front suspension or an aftermarket big brake upgrade

Ok, over the last few day alot of progress has happened. I an now at the stage where a fibreglass and bog mix are now being applied to the car. As you will be able to see in the pictures I have done something for the rear of the bar, started filling in the area on the front flares where the indicator goes, started intergrating the front flares in the the front bar, repairing the only visable dint on the car, started making the fuel filler cover smooth as well as working on the rear flares and the sides if the rear bar to make it look like it all belongs together. Once the main mods are strong enough on the rear bar I will be cutting out the center section and removing the moulds so I can then make the bar smooth.

So here are the current pictures. As you can see from the side shots, I have changed the side of the rear bar a bit since the last picture in order to make the rear flare and the rear bar flow together nicer

Ok well with crappy weather up here I have been limited but today decided to risk it and removed the moulds off the rear bar and started smoothing it all out. Still hoping to have it all done and painted by the end of the weekend

Yeah shouldnt be too hard as I have already got the shape at the front and the rear isnt to far off. Once I have it rough sanded it will be ready for a good coat of body filler prior to a good sand by hand and then paint. If I had a sanded I would be out there now getting it ready for the final few steps

I only have until next friday to have it done anyways so I can spend the next day cleaning the car. I really want to have it painted this weekend so it has a week to sit before I give it a good cut and polish for the show

well this morning I made an unexpected deal on another piece of the wagons puzzle, so hopefully I can sell off some of the parts I have from the sedan so I can have the turbo kit fitted onto the car. Its a used kit with manifold, ct26 toyota turbo (early 90's gt4 celicas and early turbo supras) and dump pipe. My new misses' brother operates and owns his own shop where they build drift cars and do alot of work on imports and he is able to makeor find a better turbo to suit, but from what he said they can handle a bit of abuse and there are many unpgrades for the internals of the turbo

Ok well after not doing anything on the car over the weekend I got stuck into it early this morning with some 40 grit sand paper and also more bog, but only for the front end. I decided to make the fron bar moulds smooth to match the rear and also did some more work on the front flares. I know have the front gaurds fitting better with the front indicators then most EL's I have seen and I am also painfully close to having the whole kit ready for paint except for the fact I have run out of filler. So here are a few new pictures

So if all goes well I will have enough filler to have al the prep work tomorrow along with my front adaptors so I can fit my 20's on
