seems to be working fine with the new shocks....took it for a rally thru the bush when me and mate got fire wood and never dropped far enough for the mud flap to touch the ground.

:D

The wires in the gauge are dodge, wriggle them around and the lights flick on and of.

Also got my tax back so might get a manifold for the van and maybe the heads done. Then motor is all done.

do you need to fit the bores to the size of the pistons?

Not selling the vct head no more, split decision so bang the head on tomorrow. Just need gasket and oil adapter. Ford or repco should have them.

Also got 8 shiny pistons for the panelvan, looked great...till I looked closer, on 2 of them the skirts on them have broken off.
Not overly happy

getting the head milled tomorrow to bump up compression.

bores look great for 230,000 ks. no sign of wear, no lip and pistons had no carbon on them....the benifits of 98 i guess.

Ok well stuffed the valves. I put the marker on the cam wheel in the 2 yellow marks on the chain. Well cranked it over and rattle rattle. Well after that pulled the rocker cover off the two yellow marks didn't line up with notch in the cam....turned it over by hand and kept moving further out.

Bought a new motor off eBay so just going to whack that in.
