Picking car up tomorow morning, it's all running nicely just a quick yidy upon the dyno first thing in the morning.

Low boost has been upped from 7psi to 10psi and high will probably be 20psi up from 16psi.

I have to rack up 1000km to bed the engine in before i can dyno it up for max power.... Still hoping for high 300's.

Anyone want to take the car and rack up the 1000km in the next couple of days so i can get it done in time for Autosalon....

well as the queensland cruise moderator, i belive it would be a good experience for you to drive up here to show us your car and meet a few of the qld fordmodders:P plus you would get those extra k's on the clock ;)

Ahh that defeats the purpose of running in a new engine :) Unless you were being sarcastic :?

Not at all. About 300km into my run-in period I was doing burnouts. Keeping revs below 3500rpm of course !

Ok i have the car and all is going well.
The difference is AWESOME. I dont know where to start.

It's about 20% faster to come onto boost and then from there the difference is cheese and chalk. It boosts from 1-2psi to 21-22psi twice as fast as previous. Even if it only made the same power it gets there HEAPS quicker.

We had it on the dyno to tidy it up to 10psi (low boost setting) but not looking for power figures at this stage.
I'll try to get some pics up i'm not at work this week so only have dial up access, i've taken the week off to work on the stereo.

Just a shame P platers can't drive high powered vehicles, otherwise you could take it for a spin!!!

Looking forward to seeing some new power results

Just a question, how do you go if you get pulled over in this thing? Was the previous setup engineered? If I was spending that kind of money, I'd want a gurantee that everything would be sweet with the coppers if I got pulled over....that or having a dodgy roadworthy guy as my best mate;) It's not like your car is a sleeper!! I've been down the (twin) turbo path, spent about $5k and had to take it all off in the end cause I got defected. It just ended up being a big waste of money. It sucks going back to N/A once you've driven a turbo Falcon!

went in and saw it today

looks good.
engine bay is nice and shiny and sittin right there was enough power to cain the gtr i saw on the dyno and a jap 240sx(looked like 240/180 but i didnt think it was turbo, not enough bov noises) the gtr made 242 and the 240 made 312 or something.

good to see that even the insane japanese are losing to the mighty blue oval!
