well its the end of the week... it is running a bit better now, but still has a bit of a hickup sometimes. though we identified a fault with the coolant temp sensor, so now time to fiddle with the elctrics/computers... so this will be fun (and out of my league now). so that is the next step for her...
anywho, like i said the problem is only a bit of a hickup now... no major drama's. SOOOOoooo... what to focus on next, looks or sound? I have had a look around the house for any old bits of crap that i can sell for some cash (bicycle, RC petrol cars, sports bars, xr headers, etc) plus i have tool allowance and tax return coming... so i am thinking car audio (digital radio headunit, upgrade speakers w/ 4 channel amp, single or dual sub w/ mono amps) or looks (TS50 front/skirts/rear, AU Boss custom bonnet w/ scoop, black powder coat on my 17" factory XR rims... but still undecided as to go tray back or custom style side)... any suggestions?

They do look nice, but only if you got the whole kit... I wouldn't mind the hawk kit if it came with the xr lights. Hmmm... Have to keep looking around... Still really want a modded au boss bonnet... :p

ride height... hmmm similar to a 4x4 haha. the stock height is ridiculous... but will get around to that at some point. im thinking of lowering it 2.5" front 2" back. The rear shocks are dying in it now, so might be the opportunity im looking for.
cheers... will do. hopefully will be getting some newer 17's soon, which will give me a spare set to try my idea... powder black au xr rims... hmmm... hopefully they will look good.

I was looking at this bonnet for my ute, it's fibreglass so I'm not sure if it complies with ADR or not, but it looks sick.

If this is the Ute I'm thinking of I have seen it around gympie sometimes and it does sound insanely good

Personally I'd turbo the six.
You could pick up a whole BA turbo motor, plus turbo, intercooler etc for under $4k. |

i like the idea of a lower maintenance induction, plus i have a little idea for the upper part of the intake manifold... but thats a long way off yet, have to talk to a foundry about casting a custom mould for me...

This is basically my dream ute...
 hmmm i can only dream right...  XR50 full body kit AU Boss bonnet FG charcoal/black rims w/ red rim o and not that you can really see it, but i would lose the sports bars in favor for a nice smooth hardcover...
