Haha.. Thanks! I'm pretty happy with how the colour turned out. It works well with the chrome too. I'll be interested to see how it looks with the chrome wheel arch molds.

I will post more photos as I go, will be a few months before she is back together though.

Finally got around to painting my side moulding on my NC2 LANE:
Used plastic primer, and colour coded spray paint to G5 for Cardinal Red.
Just one decent coat of primer, and then 2 light coats of colour.

Haha! Got the hint :P went down this morning and took a few pics of them on the NL/DL. And......fail. Thought I could upload them as they are on the iPad, but file sizes are too large for this prehistoric website  will have to upload them from the iPad, use image resized to reduce their file size and them upload them to photobucket and link them to the post.........

They look pretty good. I'm interested in buying them off you, no rush though :) I didn't mean to throw you that hint :)
maybe in a couple of weeks or so, bit tight on the ltd fund at the moment as I just paid for the paint.. So take your time.
lowered the a*** end with some super low kings today.. Looks so much better. I'll get the front done soon but will still sit pretty high without that engine

Some pictures I took today, shows the bonnet damage real well though :/

Spent today flushing the radiator and have sent the trans oil solely through the factory trans cooler for now (just for moving it around the yard)

Will be installing an aftermarket trans cooler in the near future, and bypassing the radiator completely.

I'm also going to give flushing the transmission a go before replacement, and see how it goes. Working to a budget so might as well try it. Gearbox still works like a dream so hopefully there's no damage, I have a feeling we caught this issue straight after it happened

Manual will still be coming in the future though.

Hey everyone..

I've done some revising of the garage thread.

I figured all the Lane/LTD guys are subscribed to this thread so to let you all know at once...

the-garage-f53/my-fairlane-build-lowlane-t94891.html

Will hopefully have some photos with the fairlane front back on it again very soon..
