Vice grips work well! :D

Seriously though, a good Hurst or TCI roll control would be the way to go. With a roll control, you can apply pressure to the front brake, and they will stay where you set them, plus you can apply more if you need.

Well you can use them by applying the brakes, flicking the switch, then letting off the brakes - and if you have it hooked up to your front brake lines it will keep the pressure there, so you have front brakes on with no pedal, rear will be off.
I think you can also do the opposite when you use them on your rear lines, so when activated they dont let any pressure past them, meaning rears will always be off, and fronts on when you use the pedal.

Not sure about ANDRA now, but line lockers used to be required to lock the front brakes. However a better way to install is to have them disengage the back brakes, they don't like people using them this way as people forget to turn the back brakes on again after the burnout, with the front brakes locked you can't forget.

Thats a good point. Perhaps hook up a LED light similar to a shift light on the dash, which is wired up through the locker switch.

The safest way is to just have a button to activate the line lock, not a switch. When you release the button, all the brakes work again.
With the roll control, if you want to use it on the rear brakes, you have to install it backwards to the way they are supposed to work, otherwise when you step on the brakes, the rears will still work. Just FYI. :D

The cops probably wouldnt know what it was anyway. Tell them it's part of the ABS or Cruise Control. :D

Button will be a bit hard to manage unless its mounted on the steering wheel like the drag cars, and even worse if you have a manual - holding button down, grabbing gears and keeping hold of the wheel...
