I was taking to mate at tafe who has access to a mill and lathe at work he's willing to machine my uprights for free.
Here's a list of the price for big brake conversion

VE twin piston calipers NEW $155
Pads $50
Brake lines $100
AU 330mm rotors slotted $230 a pair
Bearings $20
1/2 wheel studs $40

Total = $595

Free/donated
Uprights
Machining
Caliper bracket
Other bits n prices .

So long as everything works out it shouldnt be anymore than $600.
Also the wheel will stick out an extra 7mm which is s**t all compared to some kits .

There is a reason the UPC kit runs the offset it does Corey. I'll get pics of a VE caliper on an E Series upright.

Does the UPC rotor sit too far away from the upright ?
My rotor will sit 25mm +/- from the upright .

I'll find out soon enough which caliper I'll have to use when I get the rotor on the upright .

Found a few pics of the UPC kit , the rotor looks like its 20mm-25mm out from the upright.
