will i need to do anything to the can to stop it scraping my tires are 235/45/17s an its a 95 Ef ford fairmont... im getting is sprayed soon and new motor and everything so color suggestions would be cool and some links to cheap good mod chips for the motor.... also where to get cheap body kits and front bumpers im in tassie

Lift it back up....ultra low is way tooo low....no suspension travel = unsafe.

i think superlows are the limmit to how low your car can be, but im pretty sure it shouldnt scrape the tires, i would be more worried about the bottom of your car bottoming out over speed bumps

at one point i had my EB on bump stops in the front and about an inch from in the rear (standard shocks front, short shafts rear) it sat nice and level. it didn't even touch the guards with 17's on it but like it has been said if there is no suspension travel it's dangerous. but damn it looks good

I don't know about you guys...but I have low all round and when my shocks are set to the stiffest setting, my front wheel still scraped the wheel guards until I rolled them. I'm running 235/45/17s as well so either you guys take corners really slowly, or I am superman around corners.

yep, roll the guards.
front will 100% need it. back is dependant on the wheel/tyre combo.

i was on bump stops without front guards being rolled. with 235/45 R17. but on bump stops i drove carefully. on SL now i drive like a tool at times and it doesn't grab

On superlows, with 235/40-18's any sort of bump whilst turning eg: driveway, would chew the edge of the tyre without rolled guards on an EF, at anything more than 0.5kmh.

yeah i am going to roll guards soon... what is the best way to do it or can i get a someone to get it done... ultra lows are so sexy... an what do you mean dangerous?? i drift in this can will i still be able to do that? its running at 184kws at the wheels so i enjoy going fast
 is this a problem

it'll be within like a few centimetres from bump stops. hit a big ebough bump and it'll bottom out, bump steer and put you in all kinds of trouble. only way to fix that is get short shaft shocks rear and struts front

Ultra Lows are too low really?
I have been running ultra lows in the rear for years with 19"s with 235/45/19 tyres with no dangerous issues lol The rear guards aren't rolled either. This is on a 95 EF Fairmont  Of course if you hit a speed hump at 100 klms an hour it will bottom out but rolling over it normally then no issues Although I only have super lows up front as I wanted it to sit even

Judging from your tyre size, the rolling diameter will be higher, meaning your car is going to sit higher compared to the same set up with 17" rims. Also rear usually doesn't need rolling unless you run fatter rims and tyres. Front will definitely be rolled regardless IMO.

Opps the tyres are actually 235/35/19 not 235/45/19 - unsure what the rolling diameter difference is but I am sure some one can post it
