What are the specs of the head for $7350?

Does it come with fancy rods and pistons or just standard issue gear? It would be for a boosted application.

we had a test car a while back it was a ute the auto s**t it self & the owner had to get that sorted out but at the time at half throtle we was at 135rwkw with over 400nm.... the one that Green Machine has with be tuned to get it full potential, the stage 3's head are as all of the others that I've sold & yes the do have fancy bits, forged pistons & rods are of a factory turbo jap engine the weakest link at this stage will be the crank so asa hi boost goes ???

Price is pretty reasonable.

Very reasonable compared to what come racing would charge for the same thing if they were to ever have a crack at it.

Didnt they close down?

I bought a head and cam package from them back in the day for $2000 or so. Thought I was top s**t in my XF until I got smashed by a stock looking turbo lancer. : /

Since then I've been of the mindset that NA mods can ggf.

Does the 4.5 use a stock/modified falcon crank? They are plenty strong already arent they?

what sort of power would you make with twin cam engine and the stroker? also does increasing displacement introduce second order vibration? The (sohc) six is already pretty harsh at high revs.

it is a std ford crank but the amount of machining to suit the different rod changes the strength & yes they have all being nitrited & stress relived.....

What is the recommended rev limit on these bottom ends?

Be fun to put an ITB setup on one and try for 220-230rwkw, I reckon it would be doable.

12.5% increase in capacity - I wonder if that will translate to 12.5% additional power (give or take due to changes in efficiency..)

I think with the stage 3 cam, tuned, 3'' exhaust, custom extractors, extrude hone log & 68mm t/b, I would like to see around the 220 ish rwkw ??? we've already seen 200rwkw from Daves car untuned, so 220+ should be very double.......

this will be safe to 6500rpm but just like all 4.0ltrs nothing happens at that end of town, just noise

Yeah Mikyyy I know of rpm theres a few other local guys that have given me prices then there's china... who has also quoted me on rods & crank but can I trust it ??

All Eagle and most of Scat is casted in China but u have to find which 1's that do a good job which i did have the info somewhere which ill try and trace down for u.

Here is another company and im lead to believe they make all of RPM gear and others who rebrand like Probe industries but they also use Scat.............

My mistake, here is the company that make RPM's gear and yes u can trust it as long as u use the right ppl

http://www.rpmjointventure.com/F/21/default.asp

Alot of engine builders in USA use RPM crank and rods with no issues and very good tolarence as well.
